Is d2k listed as a valid product for 'win server enterprise edition 2003'?

Did you install d2k using the installer on the CD or the new one that came with 9i database. You did put them into different Oracle homes didn't you?

To un-install Oracle I suggest deleting everything under the 'home' into which you are going to install it and also delete all the subdirectories and files that are on the hard-drive for that Oracle home. Then reinstall specifying Oracle home and directory manually.

Also make sure that nothing much else is running, and DON'T close any of the windows that it has created until everything else has finished.
