Hello,

I read in one of the site saying that maximum No. of columns allowed for Unique is 32, but in Oracle 9i is accepting 33 columns & giving error for 34 columns. So whatz the Max. No of columns allowed for Unique key Constraint.

Does the number of characters have any impact on the number of columns?

Specify the name of a column in the table. A bitmap index can have a maximum of 30 columns. Other indexes can have as many as 32 columns.
